Canning Peach Preserve:

  1. Sterilize jars (boiling water 15 min or dishwasher) and keep warm until ready to use.

  2. Fill jars with peaches, leaving ½" headspace and wipe rims clean.

  3. Warm lids in simmering water (5 min).

  4. Place lids on jars and screw on bands tightly.

  5. Process jars in boiling water *Water must cover jars by at least 1 inch.*

    • 10 min for 4–12 oz jars

    • 15 min for 16 oz jars

  6. Let cool in water 10 min, then lift out carefully.

  7. Cool 12–24 hrs. Check seals — the lids should pop and refrigerate and use within 3 months.
